Bear’s Story
We were contacted by our crew about a handsome Cane Corso that needed help. Bear was surrendered by animal control to the Human Society of Northwest Indiana, after he was seriously abused and beaten regularly. Bear is very sensitive in his back area, where we believe he was probably hit repeatedly. The Human Society has brought him to the veterinarian, who confirmed it was because of his previous trauma.
Bear is around three years old, and he is a gentle giant. He is also good with other dogs. Bear needs a family that will give him a second chance at life. A family that will cherish him, love him, and spoil him. Bear just arrived at the rescue, and we would love for this sweet fellow to go directly into a foster home, where he will be able to decompress and finally feel the same in a home environment.
