Damian’s Story
Our handsome Damian is ready for a home of his own!
We do not know whether Damian has ever known what a loving home is, but we do know it is time for him to find one!
Damian's story is heartbreaking. Damian was found roaming the streets of a bad neighborhood in Florida. His head was severely swollen, he had flies swarming him, and he was hours away from dying. Damian's jugular was out, as his previous “owner” left him with an embedded collar.
After months in custody, Damian was finally released and came to us. His previous owner/abuser was thankfully sentenced to pay for his life-saving surgeries, and is now on a no-animals list.
Damian forgot all about his heartbreaking past, and is now ready to find happiness.
Damian is a boy full of life; he enjoys walking, people, and other dogs when slowly introduced.
