Jaxon’s Story
In December 2022, we had the privilege of rescuing Jaxon and his friend, Ava, after they were found abandoned and wandering in a shopping center. The locals were understandably concerned for their safety and reached out for help.
Since their rescue, Jaxon and Ava had been patiently waiting for a forever home in New York. It’s heartbreaking to think that they have spent almost two years without a loving family. As many know, it can be quite challenging to find homes for bonded pairs, especially when one of them, like Ava, has special needs due to her partial blindness.
Unfortunately, over the past few months, Jaxon and Ava have exhibited signs of stress in the shelter environment, which led to some disagreements between them. For their well-being, we made the difficult decision to separate them.
Ava has since been adopted and is thriving. It is now time for Jaxon to find a home of his own.
Jaxon, now about four years old, is a vibrant and affectionate dog who is eager to find a home where he can thrive. He enjoys walks, playing, and the thrill of car rides. His love for people and other dogs shines through, and we truly believe that he deserves a loving family where he can be the center of attention.
Our hope is that someone will open their heart and home to Jaxon, giving him the chance at the life he deserves.
