Myers’ Story
This handsome black fur boy Myers is more than ready for his forever home.
Myers was found tied up at a bus stop in the Bronx in 2018, and severely injured. His neck was torn open, and he was covered in pus.
We never found out if someone did this intentionally, but we know that Myers had suffered much physical trauma during his life.
After a while at the veterinarian’s hospital, Myers was finally out of danger. He has since beautifully healed, but his past left some marks on our handsome Myers.
As you can imagine, due to his past, Myers doesn’t like to have his neck touched, which sadly resulted in a bite incident.
Myers is a great, but misunderstood dog.
At NYBC, we believe every dog has a home waiting for them, and we know that his person is somewhere out there. Myers is not fond of other dogs and would prefer to be the only dog in the household.
