We were informed by a concerned citizen in the Bronx about a heartbreaking situation: a puppy left tied to a tree in frigid temperatures.
Despite calling the authorities, they failed to respond, leaving this innocent puppy in an apartment lobby. Thankfully, the residents cared for him during this time, but it’s unacceptable to treat any animal this way.
This nine-month-old puppy clearly shows signs of neglect. It’s truly appalling that anyone would abandon a defenseless animal this way, especially in the cold.
We are relieved he found his way to us, as his fate could have been much worse in the hands of those with ill intentions.
