tinkerbell’s Story
Our pretty Tinkerbell is looking for her forever home!
Tinkerbell is very outgoing, and her tail hasn’t stopped wagging.
We rescued Tinkerbell in July 2024, after she was found by a police officer when left in a yard in the heat of Florida. Her body was almost lifeless, but thankfully, she pulled through.
Despite being left for dead in a yard, she is full of life and love to give.
After being rescued, Tinkerbell was diagnosed with heartworm, anemia, skin and double eye infections, and a whipworm infestation.
Tinkerbell is still undergoing treatment for heartworm, but don’t worry, as they are not contagious to other dogs. However, Tinkerbell needs to be kept calm during her treatment.
Tinkerbell is a senior, but she doesn’t let anything stop her. She loves everyone, including other dogs, and to play and walk. With no doubt, she would be your best friend.
