Alexis’ Story
Like many other dogs who sadly don’t make it, Alexis was minutes away from being put down.
This poor baby was found, then brought to the shelter by a Good Samaritan.
Heartbreakingly, while Alexis was being returned to her kennel, she was attacked by another dog.
Alexis was scared and in pain, and her life was in jeopardy. We couldn’t fathom losing her, so we saved her life.
For the first time in a while, Alexis saw the light at the end of the tunnel.
Alexis had her freedom ride out of the shelter today and was brought to the veterinarian hospital, where she will receive medical care.
