handsome’s Story
This innocent soul was stranded in a flood in Texas. As soon as he saw someone, he began screaming for help.
Handsome wouldn’t stop crying; he wanted to be rescued. He made sure to scream as loud as he could to be found. Who knows how long he had been waiting there, afraid, hungry, and alone.
He was emaciated, with an infected, broken, and injured tail, along with cherry eyes and a terrible skin infection.
The wonderful lady who found him had never rescued a dog before, and yet she did everything she could to ensure that Handsome lived.
Handsome was brought to the veterinarian, where we learned a shocking news. His tail was purposely hacked; either by a machete or a knife.
Someone hurt him, and left him stranded during a flood.
The wonderful lady, who works as a housekeeper, spent all of her money trying to help him until she reached out to us.
We are forever grateful to Rosa for not only saving Handsome, but for doing everything she could to ease his pain.
Handsome needs help. His skin is painful, he has double cherry eyes, and might need surgery to fix the horrifying damage done to his tail.
